Marketplace Loyalty

OKNow Rewards is a marketplace-wide buyer wallet. Eligible orders can create pending points; buyers can redeem available points against the active marketplace reward catalogue and receive a coupon for checkout.

Current flow

Eligible order → pending points → escrow and return checks →
available points → active reward selected → marketplace coupon

The buyer wallet, reward catalogue, coupon value, minimum spend, and expiry shown for the current account are authoritative. This handbook does not re-publish a reward-tier table because those records can change independently of seller documentation.

What sellers need to know

AreaCurrent contract
ScopeOKNow Rewards redemption creates marketplace-wide rewards. Seller-scoped reward tiers are not redeemable through this flow.
EarningThe configured economics service calculates eligible points from the order record. Do not promise that every purchase earns points.
EscrowEarned points remain pending until the configured release period passes and unresolved return checks clear.
ReturnsA refund can void pending points or reverse released points. If points were already spent, the service records the recoverable amount and any pool shortfall.
RedemptionThe buyer selects an active reward that their available balance can fund. Fraud and balance checks run before a coupon is issued.
CheckoutThe coupon's current scope, status, expiry, minimum spend, and cart eligibility determine whether it can be applied.
FundingThe applicable loyalty fee and reward funding come from current fee, pool, and order records—not a percentage copied into this guide.

Fees

The loyalty funding component can vary under the published rate card or a seller-specific agreement. Use Financial Records → Fees & Pricing and the actual order fee records for the amount that applies to you.

A loyalty coupon is intended to be funded through the marketplace loyalty accounting path rather than entered as an ad hoc seller discount. Still reconcile the order, coupon, fee, refund, and payout records before concluding how a particular redemption affected your proceeds.

What is not a seller tool

Sellers do not currently:

  • set points-per-dollar or reward values;
  • publish their own OKNow Rewards tier;
  • target a customer segment from a loyalty workbench;
  • alter another customer's wallet; or
  • use loyalty participation to buy organic search placement.

Coupon, campaign, and loyalty-analytics workbenches are not currently supported seller workflows.

Interpreting impact

The system can record points, coupon use, and related orders. Those records do not by themselves prove increased conversion, acquisition, retention, or incremental revenue. Any impact statement needs a defined comparison, date range, eligible population, refunds, fees, and other costs.

Customer questions

  • Which rewards are available? Use the buyer's current Rewards catalogue.
  • Why did points not release? Check the order, release date, and unresolved return state; escalate through customer support when the record is unclear.
  • Can a coupon be used? Checkout validates the current coupon and cart.
  • Can a reward be shared? Use the transfer state and controls shown for that issued coupon; do not infer it from an old reward type.
