Paths by business type
Every seller starts with the same required outcome: complete Get live until Partner Portal says Ready to sell. These paths change what you read next; they do not replace Seller Readiness.
Advanced tools are optional. Use a guide only when the related area appears in your Partner Portal navigation.
Brick-and-mortar retailer going online
You already know your products and local customers. Your next challenge is translating store operations into accurate online stock, delivery, and pickup promises.
- Required: Get live — business approval, payouts, shipping, and one fulfillable listing.
- Operate: Shipping Setup and Inventory Management.
- Improve visibility: Search Visibility.
- When enabled: Configure local pickup or BOPIS only when the option appears in your portal.
Experienced ecommerce or multi-channel seller
You already manage products in Shopify, another marketplace, a PIM, or an ERP. Start with the marketplace contract, then choose the lightest integration that fits your catalog.
- Required: Get live with one manually verified listing and shipping rule.
- Integrate if needed: use the Developers section for system integration paths arranged for your account. External order sync is not part of the current Shopify/channel contract.
- After Ready to sell: use Distribution and the Growth Programme guide for attributed links.
- When enabled: Pricing Intelligence, Marketplace Intelligence, and Supply Network.
Seller moving from Amazon, eBay, or another marketplace
Your first decision is whether oziosko’s economics and marketplace rules fit your business.
- Why oziosko — the short seller decision page.
- Fair Go Principles — fees, ranking, seller identity, and first-party boundaries.
- Get live — complete the same readiness contract as every other seller.
- After Ready to sell: Ratings and Customer Feedback and Search Visibility.
Artisan or maker
Your listing needs to communicate materials, process, dimensions, provenance, and care as clearly as an in-person conversation.
- Required: Get live.
- Prepare the listing: Product Quality and Content Guidelines. These are reading guides; the dedicated Quality app area is not required to become Ready to sell.
- After Ready to sell: Ratings and Customer Feedback and Customer Retention.
- Marketplace context: understand Gift Cards; seller coupon workbenches remain deferred (Coupon Offers).
