Get live: Seller Readiness

This guide gets you to Ready to sell in Partner Portal. It follows the product Seller Readiness checklist (Onboarding), not a marketing feature tour.

Portal: partners.oziosko.com.au

Ready to sell (product definition)

You are Ready to sell when all of the following are true:

  1. Business profile complete (name, contact email, tax ID / ABN, address)
  2. Business verification approved
  3. Payout setup complete — bank account, Stripe Connect account, payouts enabled
  4. Seller agreement accepted
  5. Shipping setup configured (default shipping details or a shipping rule)
  6. First listing submitted for review
  7. First listing approved by the marketplace
  8. First order fulfillable — at least one approved, active listing with stock, and shipping configured so orders can route

Portal labels you will see:

StatusMeaning
Setup in progressYou still have seller-owned steps
Review pendingWaiting on marketplace (verification and/or listing approval)
Ready to sellYou meet the definition above

Submitted is not approved. A listing can be correctly submitted while status is still Review pending.

Operator confidence (extra, not a readiness step): you can open Orders and Financial Records without hunting.

Optional persona reading orders: Seller Guides. They do not replace this checklist.

Currently available portal surfaces

In the current Partner Portal you can use routes such as:

Inventory (spreadsheets)/inventory (Bulk Operations)
Source products/dropship
Supplier connections/sourcing
Wholesale/wholesale
Orders/orders
Messages/messages

Financial Records/financials

Many advanced routes (the full Quality suite, Coupons / Offers, analytics, pricing intelligence, supplier scorecards and automation, Inventory Forecasting, etc.) are not currently available. Source products and Wholesale are optional and appear only for an eligible account; they do not replace the first-party listing required for Ready to sell. Distribution links are also visible but optional. If another nav item is missing, skip it.

Path to Ready to sell

1. Create account and open readiness

  1. Register or sign in at partners.oziosko.com.au.
  2. Open Onboarding → Seller Readiness.
  3. Always do the checklist next action first.

2. Business profile and agreement

  1. Complete business name, contact email, tax ID (ABN), and address.
  2. Accept the seller agreement when prompted (/agreement if linked).

3. Verification

  1. Submit identity / business verification as the portal requests.
  2. Status may show Review pending until approved — that is expected.

4. Payouts (Stripe Connect)

  1. Add bank details and complete Stripe Connect so payouts enabled is true.
  2. Prefer the onboarding / Connect prompts the portal shows.
  3. Buyer payment methods today: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay only — see Payments.
  4. How money reaches you after delivery: same Payments payout story (escrow eligibility, batch calculation, ops approval, Connect transfer).

5. Shipping setup (required)

  1. Open Shipping and configure default shipping details and/or a shipping rule.
  2. Without shipping setup, readiness will not mark orders as fulfillable even if stock exists.
  3. Deeper carrier/zone detail: Shipping Setup (use the current Shipping area first).

6. First listing — submit, then wait for approval

Choose how you add catalogue:

Catalogue sizeWhat to use
One product or a fewProducts — create a listing in the portal
Many SKUsInventory → Bulk Operations — import a spreadsheet, then check Import status for errors and review

For a single listing in Products:

  1. Open Products and create a listing.
  2. Write clear title and description; add photos; set price and stock > 0.
  3. Check the current public rate card and your signed-in Fees & Pricing record before setting margin; category rates and an active account override can differ (Payments).
  4. Submit for review. Listing quality tips: Product Quality, Content Guidelines (guides only — the dedicated Quality app route may not be available in your portal).
  5. Wait until the listing is approved. Readiness stays Review pending until then.

You can list products and import spreadsheets while signed in—no separate developer setup is required for that. Account Integrations is reserved for future system connections; manage plan details under Plans & Billing. More on stock and imports: Inventory Management.

7. Confirm fulfillable and know the money/orders surfaces

  1. Approved listing + stock + shipping ⇒ First order fulfillable.
  2. Open Orders and Financial Records once so post-sale work is not a surprise.

After Ready to sell

Do not block first sale on coupons, distribution links, or intelligence dashboards.
